There are hopes safety works at a dangerous crossroads in Co Roscommon will remove people's fear of the junction.
Transport Infrastructure Ireland has agreed to carry out improvements at Scramogue Cross - after a meeting with Roscommon County Council yesterday.
There have been reports of serious crashes there in recent years.
