Ryanair's digital decision questioned locally

The airline says it has made the decision to make fares cheaper and "get rid of 300 tonnes of paper annually."

A local Green Party representative says Ryanair's move to 100% digital boarding passes is causing further digital exclusion.

All passengers flying with the airline will now no longer be able to print a paper boarding pass.

Instead they will get their boarding pass through the Ryanair app on their smartphone.

But speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, Sligo-Leitrim Green Party representative Bláithín Gallagher explained older people will be at a disadvantage:
