A People Before Profit TD's comments on Shannonside FM have been raised on the floor of the Seanad.
Dublin West TD, Ruth Coppinger and Richard O'Donoghue of Independent Ireland debated the issue of fox hunting on this morning's Joe Finnegan show.
During the exchange, Deputy Coppinger labelled those who engage in the activity as "cowboys".

A ban on the hunting of foxes with packs of dogs will be debated in the Dáil tomorrow.
