Minister Dara Calleary is to make an official visit to Co. Leitrim at the end of this month.
The Rural and Community Development minister will be visiting projects and performing official openings that have received funding from the department.
Projects such as the Public Realm Enhancement works in Mohill, the construction of a new library in Dromahair, and significant upgrades at a number of GAA clubs across the county were covered by the funding and will be unveiled during the minister's visit on the 24th of April.
Cathaoirleach of Leitrim County Council Paddy O'Rourke hopes this will set a precedent for more supports in the future:
