The last remaining travel agents in Roscommon will close its doors for the final time at the end of the year. Miriam and Francis Gannon have run Gannon Travel in Castlerea for the past 31 years but are set to retire in December. The couple say they've made the announcement now to allow for an orderly wind up of their business. Customers with existing bookings and vouchers will be facilitated while new bookings will be taken up to October 31st. Miriam explained the couple's reasons for stepping away:
