The cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council is congratulating a Castlerea woman after she was crowned world champion today.
Aoife O'Rourke has clinched gold at the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool.
She boxer beat Turkey's Busra Isildar by unanimous decision in the 75kg final.
