Roscommon Women's Network receive major funding for project

It was announced earlier this year that the project would receive funding and the allocation of €186,649 was confirmed today.

A local social enterprise has received a major boost today following confirmation of over €180,000 in EU Just Transition funding. Roscommon Women's Network's CycleUp project trains women to repurpose discarded textiles, helping them to create sustainable products. It was announced earlier this year that the project would receive funding and the allocation of €186,649 was confirmed today.

Roscommon Women's Network Manager Nora Fahy says the money will help secure the long-term future of the venture. Speaking to Shannonside News, she said the local network was now creating employment in the community:
