Roscommon women encouraged to attend local political event

Women across Roscommon are encouraged to attend a special event on the role of women in local politics later this week.

The discussion is being organised by Roscommon Women's Network and will take place on Thursday January 19th in Gleeson's Townhouse at 6:30pm.

The evening will allow for discussion on the opportunities & challenges of participating in politics & provide space to brainstorm ideas for International Women's Day 2023.

Four female councillors in Roscommon will be present to talk about their experiences in local government.
