Roscommon was Ireland's coldest county last month

Minus 4.5 Celsius was recorded at Mount Dillon on Friday, November 21st.

It's emerged a county Roscommon recorded the country's coldest temperature in November.

That's according to the latest Met Éireann climate statement.

Minus 4.5 Celsius was recorded at Mount Dillon on Friday, November 21st.

The statement has also revealed that while November was a wet month overall, it was the fifth wettest on record for Ireland, and was milder and sunnier than average.
