101,000 homes, farms and businesses remain without power, as restoration efforts enter their seventh day after the storm.

There are calls for generators to be supplied to those reliant on electricity for medical care. 101,000 homes, farms and businesses remain without power, as restoration efforts enter their seventh day after Storm Éowyn. Power has been restored to 667,000 properties, while crews from abroad have been brought in to assist the reconnection operation. Local Sinn Féin TD Claire Kerrane says medical need hasn't been prioritised:
