A popular local National School is seeking planning permission for a number of improvements to their grounds in Roscommon.
The Board of Management of Granlahan National School in Roscommon is seeking permission for the construction of a new community garden, walking track and sensory garden on school grounds.
The plans also include the construction of a new car parking and drop off area, a new multi use games area and the demolition of an existing derelict dwelling and outbuildings on the site.
County planners are currently processing the application and will issue a decision in July.
