The chairperson of the Roscommon Local Community Safety Partnership is set to attend a meeting with the Justice Minister later today.
Fianna Fáil councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice was elected as chairperson at their first meeting last month.
The partnership brings together a broader range of stakeholders than previous joint policing committees, and include local residents, the HSE and gardaí.
