A south Roscommon road has reopened after being closed for over a year due to flooding.
The Ballagh Road has been affected by rising flood waters from Lough Funshinagh.
The closure has led to major access difficulties to local residents and farmers.
Local councillor Laurence Fallon says the reopening in the run up to Christmas will come as a massive relief to those living in the area
