Roscommon records highest pothole complaints over last three years

Last year, Roscommon County Council received just over 1,000 complaints about potholes.

Roscommon had the highest amount of pothole complaints per capita over the last three years.
New Freedom of Information figures from local councils show over 48 thousand complaints have been made in that time frame across the country.

Last year, Roscommon County Council received just over 1,000 complaints about potholes.
Meanwhile, Longford and Leitrim County Councils received just 72 and 58 complaints respectively in 2024.
Local Independent Councillor Tom Crosby says more funding is needed to address the situation in Roscommon:
