Roscommon policing unit catch motorist driving over twice the speed limit

The Roscommon Roads Policing Unit have caught a driver going over twice the speed limit near Castlerea.
The motorist was caught driving 114km per hour in a 50 zone in Trien during a planned operation.

The driver was stopped and court proceedings will now follow.
Gardaí are continuing to remind the public to slow down and abide by local speed limits.
