A person has been arrested on suspicion of cocaine-driving in Roscommon - after being detected going nearly 70 kilometres an hour over the speed limit.
Gardai say the driver was going at 168 kilometres an hour in a 100 zone yesterday.
A roadside drug-test was carried out on the driver, who gardai say returned the positive drug-test.
The driver was arrested for these offences and a court date will follow.
It was part of the gardai's May Bank Holiday Weekend Road Safety Operation, with more than 2,400 motorists caught speeding since Thursday.
