People in Roscommon are having to drive up to three hours to get access to a dentist who accepts medical cards.
The issue was raised in the Seanad yesterday by Castlerea senator Gareth Scahill.
He says the HSE recently told him four Roscommon dentists provide a service for medical-card holders.

But he says it's very hard to get an appointment with them:
