A number of health issues were detected among farmers who attended a Men's Health Week event in Roscommon last week. The event took place at Roscommon Mart where farmers were offered free health checks. Croí were on site carrying out blood pressure tests and issuing heart health advice to visitors.
The event was part of a wider programme events in Roscommon and the Shannonside region last week. Healthy Roscommon coordinator Aisling Dunne says farmers are benefitting from the free checks:
