At least 12 people have been killed and twenty-nine have been injured, including a child and two police officers.

Australia's Prime Minister has declared a mass shooting at a Hannukah celebration on Bondi Beach a "terrorist incident."

One shooter was killed while another is in custody.

Police have named one of the gunmen as 24-year-old Naveed Akram.

Thousands were on the beach today to light the first candle of Hannukah.

Roscommon journalist Seamus Duke has family living in Sydney, who he says are "shook" after today's events.

His nephew was at the scene and witnessed the mass shooting.
