A Roscommon man is to run through the night to raise funds for a local school and childcare centre.
Edward Payne is taking off from Tulsk at 4 o' clock today and will turn 200 kilometers throughout the county for a full 24 hours.
He says it's been a tough year for local schools and childcare facilities who haven't been able to run many fundraising events.

Edward says his wife will be helping by providing food and water on the ultra marathon through Roscommon
