Roscommon man completes Shannon swim in aid of mental health charity

Paul Little who is from just outside of Croghan, arrived in Limerick yesterday having started in Cavan eight days earlier.

A Roscommon man has successfully completed his challenge of swimming the length of the River Shannon. Paul Little who is from just outside of Croghan, arrived in Limerick yesterday having started in Cavan eight days earlier.

The swim was in aid of 'North West Stop,' which provides counselling to people affected by mental health or emotional challenges. Paul says he took inspiration from Liam Cox from Carrick on Shannon after he completed a similar challenge a few years ago:
