A Roscommon Councillor is calling for urgent action on three junctions in Fourmilehouse.
Fianna Fáil Councillor Marty McDermott raised the issue at this week's budget meeting.
Over €32m has been set aside for road transport and safety in 2026 however no work is set to take place on junctions in Fourmilehouse next year.
One of the junctions Cllr McDermott wants to see action on is the main turn off from the N61 to Strokestown.
He says it's only a matter of time before an accident occurs in the area.
