The cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council is flying to New York today for St Patrick's Day celebrations.
Liam Callaghan will be joined in the US by council chief executive Shane Tiernan and director of services, Caitlin Conneely.
Their first engagement is the Newark St Patrick's Day Parade tomorrow.
