Roscommon's Civil Defence Officer has marked 20 years of service in the organisation this year.
Claire Keane followed the footsteps of her father and joined the service at a young age.

She was presented with her 20 years service medal by Tánaiste Simon Harris this week during the official opening of the new Civil Defence headquarters outside Roscommon Town.
The 3 million euro purpose built centre was designed by Collins Boyd Engineering and features a double height vehicle bay and external Boat storage shed.
It's also planned that the new hub will be used for training new and existing volunteers.
Speaking following the official opening, Claire Keane paid tribute to the incredible dedication of the Roscommon Civil Defence volunteers:
