Roscommon choir raises over €400,000 for good causes

They've four Christmas concerts this month - in Westport on Friday, Whitehall Church in Tarmonbarry on the 12th, Ballinaheglish on the 14th, and Geevagh in Co Sligo on the 16th.

Roscommon Solstice Choir has raised over €400,000 for good causes over the past 12 years.

The choir's PRO, Jimmy Hoban, from Roscommon town, says the choir has grown a lot since the start:

The choir includes Elphin woman Mary McDonnell, who turns 90 tomorrow.
