It's ten years since voters in Roscommon rejected a change to the Constitution which would see same-sex marriage legalised.

It's ten years since voters in Roscommon rejected a change to the Constitution which would see same-sex marriage legalised. 62 per cent of voters backed the proposal with Roscommon the only county to vote No.

Around six thousand same-sex couples have gotten married since 2015, according to CSO data. Local Yes Campaigner Will Keane says despite Roscommon voting no, it was an incredible day for Ireland:
