Road closures planned to facilitate Longford Marathon

Road closures will be in place tomorrow to facilitate the Longford Marathon.

Main Street in Longford Town is due to be closed from 7am to 6pm. All through traffic is requested to use the N4 and N5 Longford Town by-passes. The Eastbound lane of the N63 Athlone Road and the Ballymacormack crossroads at the entrance of SuperValu will also be closed from 8:30am to 4pm.

While the Lisbrack Road and the R198 Battery Road will be closed for the same duration. Traffic management is to be in place, while there will be diversions in the town centre for local traffic.
