Emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision in Co Longford, after a lorry and a car crashed.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:30pm this Wednesday evening on the N4 near Bornacoola.
The male driver of the car was taken to hospital by ambulance services with what are understood to be serious injuries.
The driver of the lorry is uninjured.
The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
