Risk of flooding in Leitrim as Met Éireann issues weather warning

There is a risk of flooding in Co Leitrim later today due to heavy and persistent rain. A status yellow rain warning will come into effect in the county at 3 o'clock this afternoon and will run until 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. The same alert will be in place in Galway, Mayo, Donegal, Cork and Kerry. Cathal Nolan, from Ireland's Weather Channel, says the roads may be dangerous as a result.
