Permission has been approved for the retention of buildings at a pharmaceutical company based in Monksland. Novo Nordisk Production Ireland Ltd had applied for the retention of five existing buildings comprising of a single storey extension to their laboratory building. The development to be retained includes two-storey extension to its production building, and two standalone plant containers comprising a chemical store and IT communications room.
Permission was granted subject to four conditions. This includes a development contribution of €23,880 to Roscommon County Council in respect of providing public infrastructure and services.
