A resolution has been reached in the Ballaghaderreen Public Realm Enhancement row. Denis Kelly who was the mediator for the talks between Roscommon County Council and local residents confirmed the news earlier today.
The Council will now prepare a Part 8 planning application for a car parking scheme consisting of a new car park in 'The Plots', which also includes additional parking at the eastern area of The Square. Local Cllr Micheal Frain has welcomed today's announcement:
