A number of homes, farms and businesses in south Leitrim are experiencing water shortages. Amid the prolonged dry spell of weather conditions, the levels at Ardrum Reservoir in Ballinamore are currently low.
This in turn, sees areas such as Aughawillan and Corraleehan suffering as a result. Local Councillor Gary Prior is urging the public to contact Uisce Éireann should they have any shortages, outages or leaks:
