Roscommon County Council have confirmed the reopening of the N61 between Boyle and Tulsk has been delayed by two weeks.
There have been diversions in place for almost three months on the road, via Frenchpark, because of the upgrade of the N5.
The road was due to reopen on August 25th but will now open on September 8th.

Earlier this week it emerged that the contractor was looking for a three-week extension.
The Council have confirmed that diversions will remain in place while works are completed.
