Rent prices in Leitrim and Roscommon have seen an exponential rise. They are just some of the findings contained in the latest Daft.ie report, the details of which have been published today. Rents in Leitrim were 10.1 per cent higher in quarter four of 2025 than a year previously. Prices in the county for a three-bed house now stand at €1,355. Roscommon rose by 8.9 per cent over the same period to €1,513.
While Longford saw a 2.3 per cent increase to €1,401. Nationally, market rents rose by an average of 1.7% in the third quarter of 2025, the eighteenth consecutive quarter of rising rents. Market rents are now one third higher than their pre-covid levels and two thirds higher than their Celtic Tiger peak in late 2007.
