The entire Shannonside region has been issued with a status yellow snow and ice warning.
These alerts will hit Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon from 6pm on Saturday.
It will run until 11am on Sunday.

Wintry showers with some snow accumulations as well as sharp or severe frost and ice is forecasted.
Hazardous Travel conditions and poor visibility in the region is also expected.
