Records of the first president of Ireland, Castlerea-born Douglas Hyde, have been retrieved from the first census of the Irish Free State.
The entire database has been made available by the National Archives.
A household form displays details about Hyde, who was registered under the Fitzwilliam electoral district in Dublin.
Also included in the records is information about his wife Lucy Kurtz, their daughter Úna Máire, and their servants.
Douglas Hyde was born in Castlerea in 1860 and became the first President of Ireland in 1938.
He founded the Gaelic League in 1893 to promote the Irish language and culture, and is still remembered as a key figure in the Gaelic revival movement.
He is buried in Tibohine Churchyard in Frenchpark.
