Ballymahon's Center Parcs holiday resort has recorded recorded average weekly revenues of almost 2 million euro.
Accounts filed by Center Parcs Ireland Ltd show that revenues rose by 4 per cent to 101 million euro in the 12 months to the end of April 24th of this year.
Opened in Ballymahon in 2019, the resort saw 1,268 employed during this time, a decrease from 1,301 the previous year.
However, staff costs did increase to 29.6 million euro.
Revenues in the Ballymahon resort rose by 4 per cent totalling €101 million euro which equates to €1.94 million per week on average - in the 12 months to the end of April 24th this year.
Separate accounts filed by the Center Parcs UK operation, Center Parcs (Holdings 1) Ltd show that the group recorded pre-tax profits of £87.2 million sterling as revenues increased by 5pc to £649.8 million sterling in the 12 months to the end of April 24th this year.
Construction commenced last year on the €100 million expansion in Ballymahon with the addition of 198 lodges and luxury treehouses, which will increase the resort's capacity to around 3,500 guests.
