A rally to show to support for the proposed Aldi store in Boyle is set to take place this weekend. Roscommon County Council gave the supermarket giant planning permission for the new store last month. But the decision has been appealed to An Coimisiún Pleanála, who will take four months to look into it.
An event in support of the development is set to take place at the Crescent this Saturday at 2pm. Former Mayor of Boyle, Jane Suffin, is one of the organisers:
