Rail services remain suspended this morning between Maynooth and Broombridge on the Sligo to Dublin line.
Irish Rail says Dublin Bus will continue to accept rail tickets in the affected areas.
Staff are working to resolve the issue, but there is still no timeline for full service restoration.
