A Lanesboro club is ready to kick off part two of the country's most eagerly-anticipated athletic events.
The Two Provinces Triathlon kicked off yesterday and is being hosted by Lanesboro Triathlon Club.
The first wave starts at 11am, with the first athlete expected to cross the line at 12:30pm.
800 athletes are expected to participate in this year's championship, which will see the fastest crowned as the national winner.
The event attracts people from across the region and beyond, as well as different age groups.
