There's a warning of possible protests over the €8 million revamp of Strokestown. Contracts were signed for the public realm enhancement scheme yesterday - with work due to start in the coming weeks. It will include landscaping, street furniture, pedestrian crossings and a new car-parking layout. There will still be over 270 car-parking spaces in the town - but Sinn Fein's Rory Doyle says he's still concerned:
