A public meeting is taking place this evening in Ballinasloe to discuss the future of maternity services at Portiuncula University Hospital. It follows the HSE's decision to move the care of high-risk expectant mothers to Galway University Hospital. The decision comes on the back of a review into the delivery of nine babies there, including two who were stillborn.
