People living in Longford will have their chance to shape the future of outdoor recreation in the county this week.
Longford County Council are hosting a number of public consultations to develop a new county outdoor recreation plan.
The public are being asked to share their priorities on what they want to see when it comes to amenities such as walking trails, blueways, greenways, water sports and more.
A drop in session will open at Longford Library this afternoon from 3.30 until 5pm, with council staff on hand to discuss the function of the plan.
Two public meetings will also take place for the public to get more information and to have their say.
The first will be held in Ballymahon Library this evening from 7.30 until 8.30, with another taking place tomorrow in Granard Library at the same time.
Longford Cathaoirleach Mark Casey has urged the public to highlight what they want to see in the future of outdoor recreation in Longford.
