Roscommon County Council is holding a public consultation this afternoon on proposed layout changes to the N61. It could involve the closing of some junctions along the the Athlone to Roscommon road due to safety concerns.
Local residents say this could impact on mass-goers at St John's Church and parents dropping children to Glanduff National School. The public consultation is taking place at St John's Community Centre in Lecarrow from 2pm to 7pm today.
