Protests taking place outside maternity hospitals against Covid restrictions

A number of protests are taking place outside maternity hospitals around the country calling for restrictions to be eased.

Maternity advocacy group AIMS is calling for partners to be allowed to attend all pre-natal scans and throughout labour.

Demonstrations will take place at Letterkenny Hospital in Donegal, Holles Street and The Coombe in Dublin and Our Lady of Lourdes in Drogheda, Co. Louth.
