It comes as Wednesday's council meeting confirmed the county's adjustment factor would be unchanged for the upcoming year.
Longford County Council's Strategic Business Plan runs from 2025 up until 2029 and aims to maximise its potential discretionary income.
It comprises of 'The Longford Strategy,' which outlines areas of revenue from local property tax, commercial rates, rent reviews, parking charges and general municipal allocations, to enable planning and delivery of services and regeneration of infrastructure around the county.
It was confirmed at Wednesday's council meeting that the local property tax adjustment factor would remain unchanged for 2026.
This is made up of a +15% variation, which had been previously committed for the 2019-2024 term.
95% of Longford Local Property Tax payers will pay less than €5.20 per week, while 78% will pay €2.10 per week until 2030.
It was confirmed property owners can be certain of a static property tax cost from 2026 in an environment of significant costs.
