Property giant to discuss Athlone masterplan with Roscommon councillors

The Ballymore Group boss wants to turn it into a green city, with a population of 100,000 by 2040.

Developer Sean Mulryan will discuss his €5 billion masterplan for Athlone at next Monday's Roscommon County Council meeting.

The Ballymore Group boss wants to turn it into a green city, with a population of 100,000 by 2040.

Last month the council invited him to attend a meeting to discuss his plans.
