Trooper Shane Kearney has been discharged from hospital, after being seriously injured in an attack in the Lebanon.
The 22-year-old was badly hurt in the attack that killed Private Sean Rooney in December.
He was released from Beaumont Hospital in Dublin earlier today, and will continue his recovery at home.

Two other soldiers received minor injuries in the incident.
