Counties Leitrim and Longford have both seen rises when it comes to the average price of a three-bedroom semi-detached home in the last three months.
It’s one of the findings in the latest Real Estate Alliance (REA)/ Irish Independent Average House Price Index.
Following changes to the Rent Pressure Zone rules, the report says a flood of landlord-led home sales is sweeping across Ireland’s regional towns.
From June to September of this year, Leitrim saw the second biggest jump in prices nationally, with the average three bed semi-detached property in the county now costing €222,500 euro, a rise of almost 5.5%.
While prices in Longford rose 1.9% to €214,000.
Prices in Roscommon remain unchanged at €215,000.
