A blend of rural tradition and vibrant community spirit will once again come together this year for the annual Strokestown Agricultural and Industrial Show. Celebrating its 157th year, preparations are well underway with the organising committee hard at work ahead of September 13th.
Large crowds gathered at the Percy French Hotel in the town last night for this year’s launch. Chairperson of the committee, John O’Beirne has expressed enthusiasm about the show’s enduring appeal:
